First-party usage records use a hashed identifier whose input changes daily, so it cannot track the same reader across days. We do not collect names, addresses, or phone numbers through ordinary browsing.

The Japanese site’s reading list and key-moment reaction state are stored in your browser and are not synchronized across devices. Deleting site data removes them. Your Google Analytics consent choice is also stored in the browser.

The Service uses only cookies needed for operation unless you opt in to Google Analytics. Refusing analytics does not limit site functions. Videos use youtube-nocookie.com; YouTube may set cookies after you play a video, at which point Google’s privacy policy applies.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics without cookies to understand aggregate readership. Cloudflare may receive the page URL, referrer, region, browser and device type, and performance data. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

If you opt in, we also use Google Analytics 4. Google may receive page views, referrers, access times, browser and device information, and cookie identifiers. Advertising signals and ad personalization are disabled. See the Google Privacy Policy.

We do not provide collected information to third parties except as required by law or as described above for analytics providers. Raw usage data is deleted after a limited period; aggregate statistics may be retained.

Use our contact page for privacy questions. A submitted form stores only its contents and any name or email address you choose to provide; it does not store your IP address or browser details.
